I only caught the end of something about Saudi Arabians not being able to drink and that affected Man Of The Match for some reason.

Did anyone hear the whole thing? That sounded interesting. :cryingcry

Yeah, it appears that alcohol consumption is ILLEGAL in Saudi Arabia. Thus, since the "man of the match" is sponsored by Budweiser, in the case that the title goes to a Saudi player, they will only announce the player's name without mentioning Budweiser as the sponsor.

wow, didn't know that alcohol consumption is actually illegal in some nations. :icon_conf

But yeh, Islam forbids alchohol AFAIK.

But not in their own home. There's an underground market for that stuff... sort of like the US prohibition days.

Don't believe everything they say in the paper, forbid is one thing, but drink they still do... like some of the 911 guys... didn't they party at titty bars days/weeks before they went to their death? What a crock.
